(b) A foster parent who will act as a parent of a child with a disability as provided by Subsection (a) must complete a training program before the next scheduled admission, review, and dismissal committee meeting for the child but not later than the 90th day after the date the foster parent begins acting as the parent for the purpose of making special education decisions. 807 (H.B. (c-1) The commissioner by rule shall require each school district and open-enrollment charter school to include in the district's or school's Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) report the number of children with disabilities residing in a residential facility who: (1) are required to be tracked by the Residential Facility Monitoring (RFM) System; and. 29.064. 895 (H.B. 29.099. (c) A school district or open-enrollment charter school that receives a grant under this section must: (1) develop a plan to implement a blended learning model that meets the requirements under Subsection (d); (2) provide training to teachers and other relevant personnel on effective blended learning practices using a program approved by the commissioner for that purpose; (3) after completion of the training under Subdivision (2): (A) certify to the agency that the blended learning model has been implemented; and, (B) immediately following the fourth school year of implementation, submit to the agency a report on student outcomes under the blended learning model; and. The report must include: (1) recommendations for statutory or funding changes necessary to implement successful innovations in the education of students with autism; and. 1089 (H.B.
